Working Principle
Before startup, the pump casing must be filled with liquid (or retain residual liquid). When activated, the high-speed rotating impeller forces liquid from the vane channels into the volute, creating a vacuum at the inlet. This vacuum opens the suction check valve, allowing air from the suction pipe to enter the pump. The air is then mixed with liquid and expelled through the impeller’s outer channels, achieving continuous self-priming and stable flow.

Installation Guidelines
Secure the pump firmly and connect the inlet to the foot valve using steel pipes or reinforced hose (avoid overly soft tubing to prevent collapse).
The foot valve must be vertical and positioned at least 30 cm above the bottom to avoid sucking in silt.
For first-time operation, fill the storage tank completely. If the pump fails to discharge water within seconds, repeat priming. Later uses do not need refilling.
Operational Precautions
Keep the motor dry and monitor water levels to ensure the foot valve remains submerged.
In temperatures below 4°C (39°F), implement anti-freezing measures to prevent pump casing damage.
Storage Maintenance
If the pump won’t be used for an extended period:
Drain all residual water (including stored water in self-priming/auto pumps).
Clean and dry key components, apply anti-rust oil, and store in a ventilated, dry place.
Note: Follow these steps to ensure safe, efficient, and long-lasting pump performance.
